Skullcandy has launched the Ink’d Wireless headphones in India at a price of Rs. 3,999. The new variant is the wireless version of company’s popular Ink’d wired in-ear headphones, bringing an all new design and Bluetooth connectivity.
Known for a sculpted audio quality and attacking bass, the Ink’d in-ear headphones have shed their wires to change the consumer’s expectations of Bluetooth product aesthetics and acoustic performance.
The upgraded version features a comfortable flex collar that remains low-profile, disappearing behind the neck, and boasts battery life of up to 7 hours.
It has a built-in microphone, allowing you to take calls, and comes fitted with volume and playback controls, through an attached remote on the flex-collar. The flex collar also acts as a storage unit, packing one-third of the earphones inside, for easy portability. The design aesthetics of the earbuds enable a noise-isolating environment for a rich, clear musical experience.
The product is mainly targeted at urban outdoor sports enthusiasts that live an active lifestyle.
This is Skullcandy’s second major wireless launch in India in the last month after the Grind Wireless, which is also a wireless upgrade to one of the company’s popular wired products and costs Rs. 6,499.
With this addition, Skullcandy continues to build one of the most diverse and best performing wireless lines in the marketplace.
